					<description><![CDATA[What fascinating detail about the Royal Charter tragedy.  I remember my great uncle having a framed document commemorating a Maltese sailor, named Rodriguez I believe, who managed to swim ashore with a rope to enable a breeches buoy to be set up.  A few crew members were saved by this means.  I was told once that sailors liked to have tattoos so that their bodies could be identified if they drowned.]]></description>
