Churches and Chapels

Anglesey is home to a rich tapestry of churches and chapels. These range from the simple, early medieval churches, often little changed for hundreds of years, through the non-Conformist chapels with a variety of architectural styles, to some modernist 20th century constructions. They reflect the deep-rooted Christian heritage and the architectural evolution of religious sites on the island.

This section is under regular development and new churches and chapels are often being added. Please check back regularly for new additions. The churches and chapels are grouped by commote.

The locations of all these buildings can be seen on this Google map
